For any real problem there is no standard solution.

A drain pipe hugging a porch pillar and releasing water onto a sloped board.

Looking at the details will reveal circumstances that matter.

A drain pipe winds around to direct water into a small steel bucket.

The uniqueness of context cannot be overstated.

A drain pipe resting on a brick wall and then angled down towards the grass.

We might even say that a 'standard solution' is an oxymoron.
